Absolutely! Our beginner classes teach fundamental movement patterns with light weights, building confidence and competence before progressing. Many of our strongest members started as complete beginners. Everyone starts somewhere, and we'll meet you exactly where you are.
Most people notice strength gains within 2-4 weeks as neuromuscular adaptations occur. Visible muscle growth typically appears after 6-8 weeks of consistent training. Remember, strength building is a marathon, not a sprint – the best results come from sustainable, progressive training over months and years.
Yes! Strength training builds muscle, which increases your resting metabolic rate – meaning you burn more calories even at rest. Combined with proper nutrition, strength training is one of the most effective tools for fat loss while maintaining (or building) muscle for a lean, defined physique.
Our classes provide structured programming and live coaching, perfect for learning proper technique and following a proven system. Open gym hours allow you to follow your own program or our provided templates with trainer support available. We recommend starting with classes to learn movements, then progressing to open gym as you gain confidence.
We provide all equipment – barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, machines, benches, and racks. Just bring yourself, a water bottle, and a towel. Wear comfortable athletic clothing and closed-toe shoes with good support. Some people prefer to bring their own lifting belt or wrist wraps, but these are optional.
